ABOUT THE AUTHOR:
Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’ was born in 1959, in the Pauri district of Uttarakhand. He has written over 30 poetry collections, story collections and a novel. Right from his early age he has been dedicated to noble cause of serving Hindi literature. His creations published so far have established him as a leading figure in the world of Hindi literature. He was Chief Minister of Uttarakhand from 2009 to 2011.
