About the Author:
Born ion 4th July 1956 in Mussoorie, Surendra Pundir, has written various books about the region of Jaunpur. Some of his earlier works are Yamuna ghati ke Lok Geet and Jaunpur ki Lok gathayein.
He currently works as a lecturer in Hindi at the inter college GhodaKhuri. For past one decade Mr. Pundir has been trying towards making people understand and acknowledge the Pahari culture and working hard towards it.
