About the author:
Born on 9th May 1939 in Savali village of Tehri region, Yogesh Chandra Bahugunja, did his primary schooling from the local school and then later at the DAV college Dehradun. He was inspired by the likes of Kropatakin and Gandhi which led him towards the work of Social welfare.
He was a part of the various revolutions which took part across the state and has also edited several magazines and works during his life. Some of his books are, Himalaya Darshan, Naye samaj ki disha, uttar ke shail Shikharo se etc.
