Madan Duklan, is very versatile personality of Garhwali art, culture, knowledge and language literature based in Dehradun. It is difficult to describe him in single article. He has been editing and publishing Chitthi-Patri or Hamari Chitthi a Garhwali language magazine for more than a decade.

He is a Garhwali drama writer and performer, and has also taken part in several environmental issues in the Himalayas. He has been honored by the Film and TV industry of Uttarakhand and is a known name in this circuit.
