About the Author:
Born in Dehradun on 18th January 1958, Bharti Pandey, is one of the few female writers present in Uttarakhand. She has done M.A in Hindi and have diploma in Sitar musical instrument. She has worked for several magazines in both Hindi and Garhwali language before starting to write.
Some of her worlds include Shabdakosh (Kumauni, Jaunsari, Garhwali, bhotia), Kaath Kweed -2, Baal Kavita sangrah, Kahani sangrah wtc.
