ABOUT THE AUTHOR:

Vidyasagar Nautiyal was an eminent Hindi writer who wrote numerous novels and stories, many of them influenced by the ill-effects of the society. Born in 1933 in Tehri Garhwal, Vidyasagar Nautiyal completed his early education in Dehradun.

Some of his famous works are ‘Uljhe Rishtey’, ‘Suraj Sabka Hai’, ‘Yamuna Ke Baagi Betey’ and ‘Bheem Akela’. He also wrote several collections of stories. He passed away in 2012 due to prolonged illness. He was 79.
