Tourism and Himalayan Biodiversity

About the book: The book “Tourism and Himalayan Biodiversity” contains 39 papers presented at the National Seminar on Tourism and Himalayan Biodiversity held at Uttarkashi in 2005. The papers of the proceeding were selected and reviewed by the editors and advisory editors.

The book contains papers on various issues concerning Himalayas, tourism, ecotourism, pilgrimage, Himalayan Biodiversity, medicinal flora, protected area of Himalayas, the drainage of rivers in Uttarakhand. The contributors are from Uttarakhand, Nepal, UK and Canada.
