About the author:
Born on 3rd March 1936 in the Uniyal village in Tehri region of Garhwal Himalayas, Dharmanand Uniyal, completed his education from Lahore, Mussoorie and Delhi. He worked as a teacher and a journalist and later on shifted to writing and social service. He has authored more than a dozen of small books apart from Plays.
He also worked in various dailies and magazines as an editor and has been honored by both the state government and the central government apart from a number of societies and organizations.
