ABOUT THE AUTHOR:
Born in 1963 in Nainital, Hema Uniyal has written several books and is also a documentary maker. After pursuing M.A Economics from Kumaun University she took training in vocals and music from the Sangeet Vidyapeeth, Lucknow. Till now she has traveled all the parts of Uttarakhand and has written about the importance and the values of the temples located in the region of Garhwal as well as Kumaon.
