ABOUT THE AUTHOR:
Edwin T. Atkinson was an Irish entomologist. Atkinson was also a lawyer specializing in Indian Law on which he wrote several books. He also published a Gazetteer of Northwestern India. Himalayan Gazetteer is probably the most well-known of all his works.
