About the author:
Born in Pauri region of Garhwal Himalayas, K P Sharma, spent his life serving the nation in the Indian navy and after retiring he still guides the people at the Uttarakhand while working at the tourism department of the state.
K P Sharma during his service at the navy became the part of the group that led to climb the world’s highest mountain Mount Everest and has also led to many successful mountaineering missions in and outside of the country.
