ABOUT THE AUTHOR:
Hema Uniyal was born in 1969 in the Nainital district of Uttarakhand. She completed her M.A. in Economics from Kumaon University. Apart from writing books on various aspects of Uttarakhand’s history and culture, she is also a documentary film-maker and a classical singer.
Some of her other works are ‘Kumaon Ke Prasiddh Mandir’ and ‘Kedarkhand’
